RSA Authentication Manager Server Service not starting???

Hi,

We're running a RSA Auth Manager 7.1 SP2 server on Windows 2008. The server was working fine up until a few hours ago when users were no longer able to autenticate using their hardware tokens. We tried rebooting the server. The issue is still there. We noticed the following automatic services as being not started:

"RSA Authentication Manager Administration Server"

and

"RSA Authentication Manager"

We tried to start the services but the service is unable to start. Checking the event viewer there are two entries:

"Event Type:      Error
Event Source:      Service Control Manager
Event Category:      None
Event ID:      7034
Date:            6/6/2011
Time:            2:58:10 PM
User:            N/A
Description:
The RSA Authentication Manager Administration Server service terminated unexpectedly.  It has done this 6 time(s)."

The other error is:

"Event Type:      Error
Event Source:      Service Control Manager
Event Category:      None
Event ID:      7001
Date:            6/6/2011
Time:            2:20:30 PM
User:            N/A
Description:
The RSA Authentication Manager Proxy Server service depends on the RSA Authentication Manager Administration Server service which failed to start because of the following error:
The system cannot find the path specified. "

We checked the path referenced in the service properties tab and the path exists. We conducted the usual troubleshooting steps but still no luck. Internet search also didn't help.

Any idea why the services won't start? Has anyone experienced this before?

Thanks in advance,
Ahmed

Did you try to launch the service manually in the command promot?
