Open Office Base: How to select alpha characters before and after numeric in column value.
One of the columns of a table I am querying contains a listing of identifiers, they are string and contain one numeric. The strings are varying lenghts. The numeric can occur in the 2nd or 3rd position of the string, such as K1AB, LL4A, W1AQ, JJ2QWE, etc.
I am trying to select from the table, one of the columns of my query I want to contain the alpha characters before the numeric, one column to contain the numeric, and the other to contain alphas after the numeric. So using the examples above, I wish to have three columns that contain K 1 AB, LL 4 A, W 1 AQ, JJ 2 QWE.
