Hi I can see how you amend the ribbon bar to create a new tab, groups and buttons, in File->Options->Customise Ribbon
I have seen some posts about sharing macros and ribbon bar customising by copying the 'normal.dotm' that is created when you exit Word, in to a shared network 'startup' folder. I have also renamed it saving it say 'ribbon.dotm' in the 'startup' folder. (Set in File->Options->Advanced->File Locations->Startup)
On another computer I have set the startupfolder and on startup i can see that the file is loaded up as a template. Itshows in the File->Options->Add-Insurance as type 'Template'. Any macros stored therein appear to be available, but unfortunately the additional tab groupsnd buttons are not presenting on the ribbon bar.
Am I missing a further step somewhere in configuration to make the ribbon bar amends in the template to present themselves? Thanks
