(preg_match("/^([0-9\/]{10} [0-9:]{8}[AP]M)\s*\|([^\|]*)\|\s+\|([^\|]*cost[^\|]*)/",$line,$matched))

works
but when I want there to be another search term in the line 'dbquery' ([^\|]*dbquery[^\|]*)

(preg_match("/^([0-9\/]{10} [0-9:]{8}[AP]M)\s*\|([^\|]*)\|\s+\|([^\|]*cost[^\|]*)([^\|]*dbquery[^\|]*)/",$line,$matched))

does not work
