asked on
removing url from Google Analytics
Hi. I have some pages indexed in Google that have a back slash at the end such as:
http://www.domain.com/name-of-page/
However, I recently removed the ending backslash on those urls but google indexed the urls with the backslash. Now, I know about the remove URL tool in Google analytics. if I request that Google remove the url with the backslash, will Google de-index the one without? Also, if I have any back links set up on the urls with the backslash, my server will redirect to the one without.
