Rule to copy emails sent from either of my email addresses to a specific person in outlook 2010

I have two emails set up in my outlook which I can send emails from. I want to create a rule that says if I send email to Mr X from either my email account 1 or email account 2 to forward a copy to an email folder. Is this possible? I can see how it can be done from one of my accounts but not both at the same time. Don't want to create two rules i.e. one for each email address as I'll have twice as many rules as I wanted then.

This may be what you're looking for:  when you create a rule, don't select from this account or any of the other options from that tab.  When you click next, it will prompt that you want to apply the rule to all messages you send.  Click Next.

ASKER

so, go in to rules > Manage rules & Alerts > click New Rule > select Apply rule on messages I send? Have just tried this from both accounts and only my primary account does the copy.

Found an interesting page that points at some coding that you might be able to modify.  They are referencing shared sent box but perhaps you could modify to have it point at your folder of choice.

THanks. I'll have a look at that now.
