Clear unused rows in excel document
Very useful post! Can I just ask regarding accepted solution:
"a) Go to the bottom row of data & then select the entire next row by clicking on the row number (in the "margin"). Use [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[Down Arrow] to select all the remaining rows in the worksheet, then click the "Edit" / "Clear" menu item to clear the rows of values & formats."
Have tried this and highlighted all the rows but have no "edit/clear" in menu and delete does not remove the rows i.e. can still scroll past the data - where am I going wrong?
Thanks
Jaffa

That's what I thought but following save still able to scroll past the data. There are no formulas/data in the empty cells but doens't stop the ability to scroll down?
