Netware 5.0 compatible network card
Hi
I am installing Netware 5.0 onto an old PC I need to get a network card that is compatible / has drivers for this software. The computer is fairly old so it needs to be an old pci model. If anyone can reccomend one I would appreciate it.
Thanks
Nick Steele

I Netware 6.5 and have run into this before. you might be best using a network card from another older pc.
Make sure the card you use has the Nam (netware) drivers for Netware 5.

I second the use of 3com or Intel cards, and also have good experience with the HP/Compaq cards. You'll find one in every old server or workstation.

Make sure you have it service packed as the nbi drivers could be flakey without the spacks.
The drag is that Novell no longer makes the legacy downloads available anymore.
If that doesn't work, try downloading an eval of 6.5,it by default gives you a 5 user runtime license that you could use if you don't need to put ot into production.
