rightfax sending too many pages

Last Modified: 2012-05-11
I have rightfax version 9.4 running on a 2003 server.  The clients have been running on windows xp with no issues for years.  I recently started upgrading some pc's to windows 7 and when those users try to fax, rightfax tries to send too many pages.  I can fax straight from the rightfax client with no issues, but using word or any other program to fax makes it send many more pages than it should (trying to send one page from word might send 36).   The pages beyond the cover page (the cover page is created by rightfax) are garbage so the pages you want to send are never seen.

Rightfax creates a print driver when it is installed and I have tried both the pcl and postscript driver and it does the same thing.  I upgraded the server to rightfax 9.4 feature pack 1, service release 2.  Still no change.  Rightfax will not let us pay for a single support call; they want us to buy a whole maintenance agreement including back time since the initial agreement went out a year after purchase.  Since this is the first time we have ever called them we are not looking to do that.
