Trouble with CSS and browser compatibility, displays fine in firefox but not in other browsers

Good day experts,

I made some changes to an existing website but cannot get it to render correctly in Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera...but works fine in my version of Firefox. Can you please help identify the problem by looking at the following link and viewing the source:

The background navigation image is missing, and the widgets to the right hand side do not display in chrome/internet explorer....stumped on this issue.

Please help resolve.

In Firefox, if you go to Tools -> Error Console, you will see that Firefox doesn't like a lot of what's on your page even though it may look good. IE tends to be pickier about javascript/jquery so you're getting even less there.
