check your DNS setting, if you are using DHCP in your network try to create a Static lease of your clinet and create A record of clinet in your DNS.<br />

make sure your DNS have proper Fwd and Reverse lookup zones.

but if DHCP is used for VPN, every time manually you have to make entry (if you have large network), practicle way is to add static lease in DHCP and create A record in DNS .<br />

I have setup a vpn connection for a client to connect to his workplace.<br />
Cleint using windows 7, windows vpn.<br />
VPN server is server 2008<br />

He can connect to his workplace but can only see other computers using the ip address. That goes for the server too He cannot ping computername but can ping 192.168.100.xxx<br />
