Hi All

We have a service we access by entering in the browser http://server-name:1111 we want to fix it so that when users enter in the browser within our network, they are pointed to this above link and port using the port number (1111 represents the port number)

not sure how to fix it so that the server will redirect users when they type service.domain.com to that the link I mentioned. server-name:port

any help on how to do this appreciated. please no links. unless they offer a clear step by step.

I hate when people ruin this service by dumping Google search results.

points shared if mulitiple answers offer targeted solution. anyone with complete solution (First in gets point) , if they are clear instructions. gets the points.
