Need a good reporting tool for Exchange 2010
Hello -
I am simply looking for a good reporting tool for Exchange 2010. We have a lot of clients moving from Exchange 2003 to Exhange 2010 and we need to replace the functionality provided by the Mailbox Manager in 2003.
Specifically, the functionality I am looking for is the ability to run a process that will show me things like:
- users who have attachments over X size and\or X days old (and the related total size)
- Total amount of size\count of emails in users Inbox (or wherever) over X days old
- The ability schedule these and email the report
This functionality existed in 2K3 but no longer exists in 2010. I think that is crazy personally but that is just the way it is.
I currently have a client that wants to imposed a policy that will delete emails with attachments over 2MB in size and that are over 30 days old. However, they want to know how much space that will free up and how many items will be affected. I can find no way to tell that that with the native tools in Exchnage 2010.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.
