im talking about MSDTC service because i tried uninstalling mcafee and tried to start MSDTC service it didn't not work so i installed again MCAFEE this service still not working
Have you moved any FISMO roles (maybe PDC) to another Domain Controller before the uninstall?

ASKER

no :(
Have you used the removal tool from MCAFEE after you uninstalled the software? I know i had to do this with AV software from other verndors.

is there anyway ??? we can fix this ??? let tell u we are using 3 servers for clustering for sharing MSA SAN storage Active Directory we are using because  some application required active directory we are not using for the local users
The Question is, if the AV software was really the cause of yopur problem or if the MSDTC problem was just a sideeffect from restarting the server.

1. Try to uninstall AV and then use a removal tool from the AV vendor.restart server

If the service still fails you have to take a look at the cluster services.
What ServicePack is installed on the 2003 Servers?
