OCS user title not sync to outlook

Hi,

We have a user received promotion 3 months before. His title is still showing old while the outlook contact details are properly changed. This happenes to only this particular user and sysnc works perfectly for other users. In ocs if we check his details shows his old position while if we double click the same the outlook contact details pop up and its showing correct vales.

Two weeks befoere we tried deleting this user from OCS (only OCS attributes)and recreating but the same result. As I read OCS should be synchronizing with Exchange information but for this user Exchange info is updated. We are running on OCS 2007 R2.

Any help in this matter appreciated
Hello,
I think its a problem with Outlook Cache, delete the user from outlook cache, and then try..
When you type in the user contact, before typing outlook will prompt you to select from cache, but dont select instead, delete it from cache, and typein the full contact Email ID and check.
and update me the status..
Also try, removing Cache Mode from Outlook properties,
Go to Control panel, select Mail, Double click and select Email Accounts, and select properties and uncheck Use Cache Exchange Mode. and follow wizard by clicking  next and finish.
and close the outlook and restart.

We tried the user with a terminal server session where there is no cache (outlook cache is disabled on all TS sessions) and its the same. Also please note Outlook shows the currect information. Issue is only with Office communicator which is very strange.

Are Email and SIP ID similar..??
Yes SIP ID for the user is same as the email address.
Lync should pull from AD as well.  Have you checked the AD values too?

We couldnt find a solution, then later resolved ourselves and the solution really doesnt make sense but it resolved the issue.
Since the user and mail ID and SIp ID are similar, it should pull up the info, if not it might be profile issue...
