SharePoint 2010 - Recover or Reset Sub Site Permissions

I have a SharePoint 2010 subsite where permissions are not inherited.  I accidently deleted the 'Full Control' group that I was a part of so now I do not have permission to modify the site.  Is there a way to reset the permissions somehow by using Central Administration or some other mechanism?  This is a new SharePoint site so no backups are available.

Thanks in advance,
Terry

Are you SC Admin ?
If you're not an admin, I think there is no way to put your group back to the subsite.
You can ask your admin ;)

Hi, Thanks for the reply.  I'm not sure what you mean by SC Admin?  I'm am sure I am an administrator though.  Assuming that I am can you help me on what the steps would be to add the permissions back to the subsite?
Thanks again,
Terry

Okay.  I am SC Admin.  For the subsite in question I did configure not to inherit permissions though.  Am I toast?

Thanks,
Terry
It doesn't matter. If you are the site collection admin and the subsite in "your site collection" you have the permissions to grant users permissions.
If you are going to the subsite and click on site actions--> Site Permissions are you able to click "Grant permissions" ??
Or ist the ribbon greyed out ?

Best regards
Sweet.  I learned a bit here.  I was not a Site Collection Administrator as I thought so the Site Permissions was not displaying in the Site Actions menu.  Once I added myself as a secondary site collection administrator your comments from above started to make sense.
Thanks for your help!
