SQL Srored Proc prints SSRS report

I have been tasked with creating a stored proc that when called will send a SSRS report to a designated printer.. The parameters will be the report name and date.. Has anyone successfully done this before? It does not matter if the report comes out as PDF or any other type it just needs to be sent automatically to a printer.. Help

You'll need to create an external module (link below uses ActiveX) that can be called from the SP to send the report to the printer.

Is there a way to do this without calling something external? I mean by just using SQL Server and SSRS?

Yes, using the Printer Delivery Sample included in the SSRS SDK. For more info, check out the info at the links below.
