Excel 2010 - use of conditional highlighting

I have an excel tutorial that I am trying to follow through a series of tasks.  One of the tasks is on the use of conditional highlighting and says to "apply a yellow fill with dark yellow text to all outstanding checks where yes appears in the outstanding column".   I assume they mean to highlight the whole row that way.  Here is a screenshot http://screencast.com/t/Tk9sKOvrYkPh

Assistance is greatly appreciated.

Not sure if they want the whole row or just the amount, but to achive it you would select conditional formatting, new rule, use formula to determinewhich cells to format. Assuming the screenshot you provided was a spreadsheet, the formula for row 2 would be =F3="Yes".

To add to what Flyster said, edit the rule to make sure it applies to the whole range. You may have to tweak the formula after that. Excel is rather nasty when you change the range of a conditional formatting rule!
