User Accounts, Admin Rights and problems installing apps
I am running my PCs on Windows 7, 64-bit. The user account is admin, yet I still run into issues when installing new software: "don't have level of approval to access that folder" or something like that. It's usually a .lnk file that causes it. Also, ITunes is saying I don't have access to folder so the music library can't be saved.
How do I determine the fine-grained access points that a user account has?

try right clicking the software (the .exe file) and say Run As Administrator.

Tried lots of times before: no luck!
Right click the Program Files folder, choose Permissions and check you have Full Control access.

Strange: none of the users have any access rights? I click on edit to change permissions but the screen which comes up is read only?
