2 AD Controllers In Same Domain with Different Gateways

I have 2 domain controllers in the same domain.  I it possible to change the gateway on one and not affect any of the AD functions or cause other probelms in the domain.  Or should both gateways be the same,  I am not changing the IPs or Subnets.

What if I simply change both Gateways to the same one, both with internet access.
Servers on the same subnet usually gave the same gateway.

KTCS one was pointing to the internet router ditectly to serve HTTP and Email, the other did not need that capability and was poitning to a different router behind the firewall with all the other computers and servers on the domain.  As it turned out, we tried both with the same gateway and the HTTP server still works from the outside,  I am not sure why it still works but it does, so all is well.
