Hub Transports to same server in different sites

Hi

We have an internal application that will accept emails on *@contoso.com.  Our Exchange domain is domain.com, and we have multiple AD sites, each with their own Hub Transports within them. All servers are 2007.

Users in NY and LA will be sending emails to contoso.com, so I figure we'd have Hub Transport in those two AD sites configured as Send Connectors to the application.

Is it better to have just one Send Connector that has Hubs from both NY or LA, or to have two different Send Connectors, one for each site?
