how to obtain the 10% (for example) of an hour with vb.net

I would like to know how to obtain the 10% of an hour by code in visual basic.net

In excel I can do the following:

f10: 8:00:00
f11: 0.10

f12: = f10*f11 (this formula give me 00:48:00)

I would like to do the same but in visual basic

You might want to make "totalSeconds" a Double rather than a Single if you expect to work with large values.
