Where to store Exchange server 2010 Transaction Logs?

Hi,
We are looking into deploying Exchange 2010 with a 2 server DAG. We plan to put our 3 mail databases on an FC san. WOuld it be ok to store the transaction log files on local storage? We want the databases on the san to take advantages of backup etc but the logs would be better on the local faster SAS disks..

Is this a supported setup?

Thanks.

move your logs to a separate LUN on your SAN.. they are inherently more reliable than servers.

Its fine as long as your local storage is not the same disk as your OS.
