How do I resolve a conflict in the client setup.exe of SBS2003 in Win7 64bit?

I'm not an IT guy, just a fairly knowledgeable digital artist with a small render farm.  I need to upgrade several machines to Win7 64 bit on a domain controlled by an SBS2003 server.

My situation:
After I've joined a Win7 64bit client to my SBS2003 server domain, the client wants to run setup.exe from the server in order to set up client applications.  Problem is, the setup.exe file is not compatible with Win7 64 bit and will not run.  Every time I boot the client I have to cancel the setup process.  I have everything else running fine on the client so this is more of an inconvenience than a real problem, but I'd like to figure out how to fix it permanently since i have several machines I deal with and it's annoying to have to do this.

My request:
I'd like to learn how to upgrade SBS2003 with a compatible setup.exe version if possible, or understand how to prevent the client from trying to run the setup.exe in the first place, since I don't really need it.  I've tried to do both on my own and was unsuccessful.

Wasn't sure if this was meant to be done on the Client or on the Server, but I I figured that out quickly enough... Server!

Will this also disable the autologin script for the XP machines too? is there a way to disable it only for the new 7 clients?
Not needed for any current version of Windows.  No SPs need to be pushed, and OL is either already installed or can be installed manually.  You can safely rem it out.  Probably a way to if win7
then
else
but not necessary so I am not going to think about it.

Small Business Server (SBS) is a line of server operating systems targeted at small businesses by bundling the operating system with a number of other Microsoft products that would normally need to be purchased or licensed separately. The most notable inclusions are Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint and ISA/TMG (Microsoft's firewall and proxy server).
