I'm trying to setup google apps for a client and having some issues. Their subdomain for the google apps email is my.domain.com and thier domain name for their internal mail is domain.com. We have contacts setup to forward to the my.domain.com accounts for google. My issue is that their exchange is thinking the my.domain.com is associated internally and bouncing emails saying it doen't exist. I created a MX record on internal DNS servers to point to the Google mail server but still not go. Any Ideas?

ok their domain is "domain.com" and their google apps email is "my.domain.com" Their exchange is thinking it is an internal email therefore causing the bounce. I need to have the exchange server to know that "my.domain.com" is an external email account. That is why I was thinking of putting the MX record on the interal DNS server. Plus Google told us to put the MX records in also for that domain.
