 asked on Remotely execute Rob Dunn's WSUS update vbScript?
I came across this script over at Spiceworks (http://community.spiceworks.com/scripts/show/82-windows-update-agent-force-script-email-results-version-2-6). It detects or installs Windows updates from WSUS or MS and sends you an e-mail.
It works great if I run it locally on a computer (or remote desktop'd into a server), however, I cannot seem to get to it execute against a server remotely from any console. I tried PSExec, RemoteScript and PDQ Deploy but it never starts (or finishes?).
If I put the command in a .cmd file and then double-click it within the server's console/shell account, it runs instantly as I get an e-mail (part of the scripts features) right away.
Any other way to manipulate something to get this to run remotely, other than a logon script or task scheduler? Those may be the only ways but it'd be nice to know of an "on demand" method...

Well I appreciate the feedback, but we may be looking at a couple problems.
See the batch runs fine but even when I run as a local scheduled task, it doesn't work.
