Need to find XP drivers for Sony Vaio VGN-N365E preloaded with VISTA
My name is Fernando from Argentina and I purchased a Sony Vaio VGN-N365E Notebook with VISTA installed on 2008. Because of software conflicts I need to reload the notebook with Windows XP Professional. There are no WinXP drivers available at Sony's site. I've managed to load all of the drivers with the exception of the WIRELESS ETHERNET CONTROLLER (Lan-Express AS IEEE802.11g), the MASS STORAGE CONTROLLER (probably the USB flash media controller) and the MODEM DEVICE ON HIGH DEFINITION AUDIO BUS (HDAUDIO Soft V92). Can anyone tell me where I can get xp drivers for this notebook or these devices. Any help would be appreciated.
This soft didn´t work. Or I don´t know how does it work. They are all "readme" files. I unzipped it but I didn´t find an .exe application and I don´t know how to go ahead.
All the others worked grat !
Sorry about my English.

After unpacking the zip file right-click on the file yk51x86.inf and select "install"

Thanks for the points but didn't flubbster's link help?
Neither of those setups have fix the problem yet.
The ethernet controler doesn´t work.
By the way, the sony website wasn´t useful.
The first thing I did was download all drivers of VGNn365E for Xp from sony website. But they didn´t help me.
Sorry about my english again

you might try adding a usb network adapter that has drivers so that you can connect to the network and run windows updates, i have not seen great driver support using Windows updates for XP, win7 drivers are much easier to load using windows updates. Why not just run win7 on this system, is it a licensing or application issue that requires you run XP?

I need to run this laptop with XP because of software conflicts with 7. I am installing medical soft and they are not able to run with 7
Otherwise as you have an active Internet connection try going to Device Manager
Find the Ethernet device in the list (or the remaining "Unknown" device) right-click and select Update Driver
Then when prompted allow the Hardware Update Wizard to connect to the Internet to locate a suitable match.
