Add Hard Drive to Intel Server

I have an Intel S5000PSL server with RAID 0 having two 250Gb hard drives that mirror each other. The OS is Win 2003 Std server.

I want to add a single 1Tb hard drive to back up some data. Not to be part of the RAID. Just a normal SATA drive.

Seems I cannot do this as the on board controller only works as a RAID. I can see the 1Tb drive but it want to add it as a 3rd drive to the RAID.

How can I install this seperate drive as stand alone SATA drive d:

Sorry, my error. it is RAID 1 mirror.

No documentation on the raid controller. It is embedded in the motherboard.

I think you are right, I will need to buy another seperate controller. Even though here they are nearly the same price as the hard drive.
