Error Running Toad 9.7
Hi,
I have installed Toad 9.7 on Windows Sever 2008 Enterprise x64 machine where I also have Oracle 11gR2 X64(Oracle Server & Client) editions installed.
I have both Oracle Server and Client installed into diff folders under C:\app\Administrator.
Initially I have installed Toad 9.7 into c:\programfies x86 folder and I go the error "You don't have Oracle Client installed" at Toad startup
I have tried reinstalling Toad 9.7 to custom folder assuming that the folder programfies x86 is giving the problem but I am getting the same error though I have Oracle Client installed into diff. folder
I have attached error screenshots.
Thanks,
Rishi

The blog is just saying not to install Oracle Server and Client in the same ORALCE_HOME but I am not sure whether they mean ORACLE_HOME or ORACLE_BASE.
I have reinstalled Oracle Client into a diff location other than ...\product\11.2.0 but under the same ORACLE_BASE c:\app\Administrator (C:\app\Administrator\Orcl
Also I am not allowed to search for Oracle clients from TOAD UI as mentioned in the blog.
When I click the ellipsis ... button, Toad is throwing the same error.
Thanks,
