Font Size too Small for Windows

Hi! I purchased a Thinkpad T420. The screen resolution is 1600 x 900 (recommended).

The font size for applications like Microsoft Word, the Control panel etc, seem to be ok. But the font size for the Windows Title is extremely small. When I right click and get a Windows, the font size for that is also extremely small.

How can I increase this to be slightly bigger, possibly normal size?
When I go to screen resolution and increase the font size to MEDIUM, the font size becomes a bit bigger than normal and doesn't look very nice.

I would appreciate any help possible. I'm on Windows 7 Professional.

Grant......in my question, I mentioned this - "When I go to screen resolution and increase the font size to MEDIUM, the font size becomes a bit bigger than normal and doesn't look very nice."
Yes, the general font size tool is a bludgeon of a hammer. That is why I suggested the detail approach above. It allows you to set the font size you wish, but does take a little extra effort.  ... Thinkpads_User
ben1211 - Did you try my suggestion? Look at each setting where you see "desktop" above, and then where you see Tahoma 8 pt choose 9 or 10. Takes 5 minutes and bingo, all Windows text is larger.

thinkpads_user, yes i checked out what you asked me to do. My font is Segoe UI with a font size of 9.

I'm not sure if this is normal. Would you know?

Why is it from some of my other computers, the size is naturally bigger? Has it got anything to do with
the resolution?
