I have a customer who has purchased VLK for Windows 7, we've imaged the laptops using the OEM install on windows 7, is it possible to activate windows 7 using this VLK now?

thank you guys, can anyone point me to a M$ Article that confirms this?
PS# several people has advised me that you cannot use a VLK on an OEM install, just need to provide some evidence to a client in the form on a M$ article (or similar) if possible
