Hi,

I must say that I have not used Windows 7 32 bit, as I have got most things to work fine with 64 bit.

With a quick google search, it looks like it may be possible to convert, but it is messy.

Best way would be to backup all your files and install fresh using a Windows 7 32bit SP1 DVD.

I personally think you may find the same problems with te 32bit version as some old software does not work well with Windows 7, although I have found more to work with Windows 7 than Vista.

Have you tried running the programs with compatibly more or administrator rights?

I also always format and reload any new machine I get as it runs a lot faster without the manufacturers pre-installed office, anti-virus and other stuff you don't need.

Let me know if you want any more info on how to progress with any of the above suggestions.

Hi,

I have two main application program for energy monitoring, certain function didn't work accordingly. When i did refer to developer the comments is due to 64 bits and the application was develop in 32 bits. Is that the issue to run in Win7 64 bits?

FYI, there is no supported downgrade/upgrade in changing architecture. 64->32, and 32->64 both require a reinstall.....

Also, I have never seen a 32bit app NOT run in 64bit......
