asked on Resrict wifi and usb devices on mobile laptop
My employer is beginning to assign laptops to mobile workers with Windows 7 Business edition. I am looking for a way to restrict the wifi networks and usb devices that employees are able to use with laptops. Is there a software package or setting that I can use to accomplish this. Keep in mind, this is a small non-profit agency, so cost is an issue.

I think that I didn't work my question properly. I want the workers to be able to use wifi and usb devices. I just want to limit it the company issued encrypted flash drive and network.
How do you want to restrict the network?
There is a way to restrict to certain USB devices on a PC by using the USB devices device ID { }

I am not sure how I want to restrict wifi. I just want it so that they can only connect to our network or another SSID that I allow.
