How to Clean out DHCP Server?

Hello,

I have a DHCP Server running on a Win2k8 Enterprise and I'd like to know how to clean out all old DHCP entrys without affecting my current active leases. I also have a set of IP ranges that I need to exclude, but I cannot find the area where I do that. I appreciate anyones help and support.

Thanks,

nimdatx

I would suggest testing by deleting your lease from your machine and rebooting to see what happens.

I have some leases that say Infinite and I do not know why? I'm thinking that infinite are the ones that were moved out of network and still show up on my DHCP leases. What are Infinite leases and is their a cmd that will list those I can delete?

Thanks,

Do they have a different icon or type next to them, sometimes these might be for VPN distribution.

Kaffiend, why does my DHCP server handout infinite leases?

That radio button on the bottom was probably checked at some previous point in time.
