Can a Powerpoint presentation be split into multiple parts

We have a VERY large Powerpoint with lots of video. It has grown so large it won't properly play on our older laptop. Can it be split into multiple parts? If so instructions please.

I couldn't find any help on Create a link in the last slide of the first copy to run the next file. Can you provide instructions?
