Finding a compiler on my Mac Pro OS X Snow Leopard

I have a new PC and want to start writing software. Is it true the GCC is included? If so, where is it?
I do have al my installation disks.

What other compilers can I use to write Objective C or C++ on the Mac?

Thanks,
newbieweb

ASKER

Actually, I intend to develop for the iPhone. I suppose I could join for $99 and ask about which development tools to use for my back end process on the iPhone.

Cool.

Does joining the Mac Development Program help me get access to compilers?

Is GCC a command line compiler?
Does the GNU license require me to reveal my source code?

Thanks.
