Public Folder Replication Stalled

As part of move from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010, I began the process of replicating the Public Folder Instances from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010.  However, I believe the Replication is stalled or stuck.  Are there any other options for moving the Public Folder Instances so I begin the process of removing the Exchange 2003 server?

How much data do you have in public folders?

an option could be to use Outlook, then copy your Public folders to a PST file.  Then create the public folders on the new server and  then copy the data  into the new public folders.
Not the best way, but maybe for your situation it will get the job done faster.

Works for me, but will that cause problems in decommissioning my Exchange 2003 server?
