How do I do auto numbering of chapters and subsections in Word 2010
Ok, I want know how to set auto-numbering for my chapters and subsections for my book.
Specifically,I want to be able to do:
Chapter 1
1.0
1.1.1
1.2
1.3
Chapter 2
2.0
2.1
...
Now when insert a new Chapter between 1 and 2, Chapter 2 will automatically change to:
Chapter 3
3.0
3.1
...
Specifically,I want to be able to do:
Chapter 1
1.0
1.1.1
1.2
1.3
Chapter 2
2.0
2.1
...
Now when insert a new Chapter between 1 and 2, Chapter 2 will automatically change to:
Chapter 3
3.0
3.1
...
