Making Crystal Reports work without Runtime installation

I have coded 8-9 crystal reports on .NET 4.0 VS 2010 which opens on WebUI using the Crystal Decisions object. I had this Crystal runtime installed on my machine while development. Now for moving these changes for deployment to the dev and QA regions we are looking for a solution wherein we don't want the Crystal report runtime to be installed on the servers and we want to make it work by copying only the required dll's to the server. We copied the folllowing 4 dlls that made the code compile but it isn't able to create the crystal decision object. Please Help!

CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.dll
CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ClientDoc.dll
CrystalDecisions.ReportSource.dll
CrystalDecisions.Shared.dll

Thanks mlmcc!

Actually what we are looking for is a solution without adding a new dependency on the server side. Intalling a runtime or adding a merge module is a solution and I know about it but I was trying to find out if it can work with the dlls only so that this dependency of runtime can be avoided, but it seems like it is mandatory now.
I guess I don't see the real difference.  The merge module/runtime has simply packaged them for you.
Either way you have to install some set of files to the server.

One thing you could do is to take a system and note the files it has then install the merge modules and compare to see what has changed.

Crystal Reports
Crystal Reports

Crystal Reports is a business intelligence application from SAP SE. It is used to graphically design data connections and report layouts from a wide range of data sources including Excel spreadsheets, Oracle, SQL Server databases and Access databases, BusinessObjects Enterprise business views, and local file-system information. Report designers can place fields from these sources on the report design surface, and can also deploy them in custom formulas (using either BASIC or Crystal's own syntax), which are then placed on the design surface. Crystal Reports also supports subreports, graphing, and a limited amount of GIS functionality.
