Citrix Xenapp 5 Long Printer Name

I am having issues printing to printers that have long printer names.  If I shorten the printer to a shorter name, then there is no problem.  But if the printer has a long name, I get an error about loading the driver.  Is this an application issue or a Citrix issue?

Some applications like SAP need the old Legaacy style printer names. It depends on where you printing from. Citrix can change the policy to use the Legacy style instead of the new name style for certain applications.

Not sure what you mean by legacy style vs. new name style.  And how would I fix it?

You have a printer policy under Xenapp advanced config.. You can specify that server to use"legacy" style" so printer name will show in UNC format and apply it based on users or ip or servers and check how it goes.
