However, after it is imported, you can export the certifcate and import it to other servers.<br />

\However, if I understand you. You are basically saying I can generate the csr from a server that is already set up for ssl. Get the cert, install it there, and then export it to my web service server. Correct ?

I am assuming it needs to be the same box, but I am more or less double checking. Please note, I am not in any type of an export scenario here. This web serviceis brand new. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. <br />

All current versions are built on a modular architecture; modules can be added or removed individually so that those required for specific functionality are installed. The full installation of IIS includes HTTP, security, content, compression, caching, logging and diagnostics.
