How to delete data from mysql.slow_log table?
Hello,
How can i delete data from "mysql.slow_log" table without restarting mysql server?
when i try with "delete from mysql.slow_log where start_time > '2011-01-01'"
i got this error: "You can't use locks with log tables."

you cannot DELETE in that table.
you can only cycle the underlying file, and this also only from certain version of mysql.
