How to understand buffer variable values?
Hello,
I am learning how a buffer overflow works, but I have found a script in python that has a line like this:
buffer = '\x41' * 966 + '\x42' * 4 + '\x43' * 1030
As far as I know these are buffer variable values, but I do not understand at all,
Can anybody help me to understand this?, Where can I find information related ?
Thanks in advance,

It sounds like you are starting out in Python, so perhaps the classic tutorial would help you. It covers strings and many other basic elements of the language as well:
