CAN NOT UNINSTALL PEACHTREE PRO ACCOUINTING 2007 ON WINDOWS 7
I can not get PEACHTREE PRO ACCOUNTING 2007 installed on on windows 7 therefore i want to uninstall ;however it still tries to run the install wizard when i put in cd and attempt the uninstall.

There are apparently versions of peachtree that peachtree recommends you not use the windows uninstaller to do an uninstall. Verion 5.0 for example. From their FAQ: (http://www.peachtree-support.com/peachtree-accounting-frequently-asked-questions.asp)

Not sure if that also applies to 2007, but it is worth keeping in mind that using the windows uninstaller may not work or may make things worse. Best practice is to use their CD since you have it.

I had searched for software or a means to accomplish this and the suggestion of installing majorgeeks software did the trick! Most of these type sites are spyware infested but this appears to be trustworthy as my anti virus did not pop up.again many thanks!!!

You dont need the CD in the drive uninstall. As long as Auto Run is enabled on the cd drive it will try to run the cd each time it is placed in the drive.
