Outlook 2010 - Spell check - "Ignore orignial message text in reply or forward" not working
Hello,
We are running Outlook 2010 32 bit on Win 7 64bit and in Outlook when checking the setting to "Ignore orignial message text in reply or forward" for spellcheck is not working. It checks the entire message instead of just what was replied with.
Does anyone have any ideas or workarounds to this?
Thanks

I just tested and it does happen both in Plain and HTML email and wiht 2010, it uses Word by default as its editor.
Thanks
Thanks
Try removing word as the default editor.

I believe in OL 2010, the default is Word as its editor and can not be changed unless you know of a way to do this.

Right - it is, overlooked that you were using 2010.
I don't know what else to look for. It is definitely errant behavior.
Good luck

Not solved
We have a similar issue. Test running outlook in safe mode and see if the problem persists. If it does not, very likely its a 3rd party addin. In our case it was zantaz EAS client 6.2 (and 6.4)

1. Might check the indent or adjustments made to the replies/forwards
2. Might have something to do with the text format of the message (is it occurring in plain text and not rich text or HTML, or all?)
3. Is Word the default editor or is it within an Outlook mail form?
Just some troubleshooting ideas.
