XP Embedded
Hi,
Is the a bootable version of Windows XP Embedded. I downloaded an .ISO image from the Microsoft website with SP3 and SP2 however upon testing the images they do not boot into any Windows installation. And I have tested this on a virtual machine aswell and it does not boot into a installation wizard. Might I be missing a step or two I've never used or installed XP embedded ?

surely you don't need to follow all that just to create a bootable media. I would of thought you download an image burn it onto a disk and follow the installtion instrustions

nobus: that's what I thought aswell. But I downloaded the .ISO image burned it onto a CD using CD Burner XP but it does nothing. I thought it was that simple and I even tryed creating a virtual machine and setting it to boot directly from the ISO image and that didn't work. So I'm trying to figure it all out, seen some XP embedded builders but they seem just as bad.
Which M$ link did you use for your .iso download? You should get two separate disk images.
Can you list the directory from the disk you've created? Then we'll know exactly what you've got & what's missing and/or what you need to do with what you have.
