Browse internet from XBOX 360

Is there a way to browse the internet direct from an XBOX 360 without having to connect to a Media Centre PC?

We only have Windows XP Pro and does not seem to have Media Centre capabilities like in Win Vista and 7. You need to have the Win XP Media Center Edition.

Not really - you'll need XP MCE or Vista (or 7) and some fiddling with settings and various downloads.
Even then it's not great for surfing :(

It's almost like Microsoft don't want us using the XBOX for anything other than gaming ;)

I have Tversity. Was not aware you could browse the net with it. I thought it was just to stream movies, music to the xbox.
It's not - I think guywithguts is just looking at streaming media from your PC's connection not browsing.
Do you know how to Browse the internet via Tversity?
No, Tversity is a media server, it allows you to view media from other devices and where needed re-encodes them so the device you're using can display them correctly - it isn't a means of browsing the Internet.
Worth a shot... supposedly for XP or Vista...

MCE Browser - http://www.anpark.com/Software.aspx
So my only option here is to connect the Xbox to a PC running media center?
