KVM
I am trying to find a kvm so i can have bios level access to servers and for workstations. Can someone recommend some products. I want IP kvm but i would like to use it on the lan also if there is no internet connection. Is this possible. I am looking for remote PDU and Serial Console functions also.
I was looking at ATen KN1000 as it has a PDU built in and one console port to use with workstations but it looks like it has only 1 ethernet prot so i would have to add a 4 port hub/switch at the workstation also and i would like to avoid that.
If only someone made a UPS/KVM/PDU/4 port Switch Combo for workstations.

It would be goog to get a unit that can do PS2 mouse and keyboard as well as usb and have a vga or DVI monitor connection so it is flexible

Still having trouble finding a ip kvm for desktops. Everything seems to be geared towards servers.
I need something small for 1 pc that has a local port so the user can have a keyboard and mouse as these will be everyday use machines.

Will this be any slower for the local / daily user as opposed to having their keyboard and Mouse plugged directly into the machine?
