zip a file on AIX with password, opening it on windows

I would like to zip a file on AIX with a password then have it shipped to a windows user so when they open the archive all they need to do is open the zip file and enter a password. (if they have winzip or other zip software installed).

I can't find a simple solution for the above (ideally with standard software provided AIX).

any ideas?

if you have zip installed
zip -P password file.zip file
don't think gzip or compress can encrypt

zip is not shipped with AIX.

Get it from here:

http://www.perzl.org/aix/index.php?n=Main.Zip

Get the requisite bzip2 package from here:

http://www.perzl.org/aix/index.php?n=Main.Bzip2

Install these rpms via:

rpm -ivh bzip2-1.0.6-1.aix5.1.ppc.rpm

and

rpm -ivh zip-3.0-1.aix5.1.ppc.rpm

The rpm tool is part of the AIX base shipment.
