Cannot open your default email folder

Hi,

We are Exchange 2003/2010 coexist envirment. After I migrateed remote users' mail box from 2003 to 2010 they couldn't open the outlook! By the way, if I login as me in outlook 2007/2010 at remote site I can send/receive and everything works fine.  I went ahead recreated their profile under the Control Panel/Mail, it didn't help.

Here is the message: "Cannot open your default emai folder you must connect to microft exchange with the current profile before you can synchnize your folder with outlook data file (.ost).  I searched, however, there was not ost on their local pc.

By the way, the profie is set up using exchange cached mode and Encryped data between microsoft outlook and exchange is checked under the More Setting, Security tab. Under the exchange2003 Event Viewer it logged Event ID 1205.

Can someone hlep me please?

They have been using cached mode since I upgraded from outlook 2003 to 2007. If you disable it the outlook cannot start. I checked c:\ documnet setting (it is xp by the way)\%username%\appdata\local\Microsoft\Outlook. There is no ost file! the service is started and I also rebooted the two email servers. it did not help.

What happens if you set up a brand new MAPI profile for one of the users, and then open Outlook using that profile?
I setup another user and here iis the thing it keeps throw her back to old email FQDN when I clicked Check Name. Like I said I created my profile it found me on the new server right way. I am curretly at remote site.

have you tried opening the outlook in safe mode?
User can use  access their outlook using Outlook Web App, by the way.
I used outlook /safe and it opened and let me choose profile that which user I wan to login. Then it stuck at the 'loading profile" for a minute the error above pops up after that.
have you tried creating profile of the same user on a different computer ?
I login as one of staff works at certral office and his outlook opens fine and mine too. It doesn't matter which user I setup profile at remote site and none of them outlook opens.
I found out under the Exchange Mailbox Store  of remote user's AD properties of Exchange 2003 it still shows their mailbox are in the first storage group. But on Exchange 2010 EMC it shows their mail ibox are User mailbox instead of Legacy Mailbox.
It works finally after I did server time of gpupdate /force on our two dcs (exchange servers not dc). I found out we are having replication problem. It could be because one of dc died and I didn't remove it from Ad Sites of Services.
